Agua de Valencia….a life changer ❤❤❤❤❤
Fantastic. Thank you:)
You guys live VERY well in Spain. You dine and drink in style. I'm sure many of us want to know what kind of a budget does one need for two to live in Spain like this. Do your earnings from Youtube cover your travels or just partially offset the cost? Thanks for any info you wish to provide.
Valencia in the 70’s and 80’s was great. Lived in Malvarrosa before the beach scene arrived.
I have to comment.
In another more recent video of yours, you say that there is a misconception that all food in Spain is tapas, but to be fair you are partly to blame because if someone only knew about Spanish cuisine through your videos, they would think this. I have not lived in Spain as long as you have, but I did live in Madrid for one year and have visited Spain on four other occasions. It is clear that you LOVE tapas and everything about them. To be honest, you seem to have almost an obsession with them. That's fine. It's what you like. But there are other ways to enjoy Spanish cuisine than tapas. Yes, you say this and mention this, but you always go back to tapas. But not everyone wants to stand at a noisy bar and eat standing up. Some of us like to relax and have a less hectic experience. I have always much preferred the Menu del Dia. I understand that one is more limited (really only served from about 1:30 – 4:00), and I have heard prices for Menu del Dia have gone up quite a bit, but they are still a bargain compared to restaurant prices in other countries, and nowadays tapas can get get pricey also. Honestly, I don't know if you have done even a SINGLE video (you may have) video highlighting this extremely important aspect going to restaurants in Spain.
I love all your video with yoly and Lucia she’s so cute. You’re the best blogger. God bless and your family🙏❤️🥳🌹
Como echo de menos Espana y su gente.
Espero volver algun dia para vivir! Amo hermoso pais ❤
Does anyone know if Horchata is a safe drink for pregnancy? Visiting soon and I want to have Horchata again.
¡Con un modesto bocado de pan y simplemente un chorrito de vino, podrás pasear por el sendero. Sin embargo, si bebes para olvidar, no te olvides que pagarás el precio del camino al infierno!
Almost faultless gastronomic journeys around Spain.
Not so sure about the eel stew
Those small shellfish are the best in Valencia 👌.
Went to the nuevo oslo, very good place and very tasty food. Good tip 👍😊🎈
Where's the garlic soup? Restaurant Botin?
Spain also serves the standard cuisine served by other European nations, and in America, roast beef, all saute vegetable dishes, soups, roast chicken, baked and deep fried fish, spaghetti, fried pork chops, steaks, etc. When I drove from Madrid to Benidorm on vacation, I stopped off the side of the highway at what we would call a truck stop. It was not near a large city either, instead it was practically out in the middle of nowhere. The cafe had a 1 fork sign out front. My appetizer plate was a plate of five different saute green vegetables. The brussel sprouts I recall were the best, as they had no earthy type hint at all, showing they must have been marinated in something before being sauted in butter, garlic and olive oil. The main course was what they called 'steak Avila', which was a style of meat from the province of Avila, Spain. It was served with excellent French fries. This meal was so… excellent, everything was perfect, and this was a little cafe out in the middle of nowhere on the side of the highway??
When I was in Valencia and Dena in the 1970's, there was only 2 styles of paella, either seafood with shrimp, langostinos, and clams, or chicken style, which both were basically the same paella dishes served in Madrid at the time.
muy buen video amigo saludos desde valencia
Me ha parecido ver que el cremaet lo bebiste sin mezclar. Hay que mezclar el ron con el café y luego beber. Magnífico video
Going to Valencia (first time) after Barcelona- you & Yoly just made me even more excited to explore the city & eat our way through haha gracias!!!
TASCA ANGEL is where it is at for me. Thank you for this superb vlog guys. So good and super insightful. Viva La Vida
Finished the 16 inch packed sandwich in Nuevo Oslo. Victory! The man there really looks after you. What a great place and what a shock to the system for brunch. The anise shot was indeed a wake up to begin. I think we walked the entire bloody length of the park to work it all off and didn't eat again until 11pm
Sorry, James. Didn't think the patatas bravas in Bar Ricardo was anything special. But your review did bring us there and we accompanied it with some very good seafood dishes and fine croquettas, which made up for it. My buddies preferred a patatas bravas they tried in Jerez. But great restaurant. The coffee brandy shot, name of which escapes me now, was a great valencian treat, but we did find it amusing to think that in the UK an Irish coffee is a very similar thing, which oddly I can only ever find in Indian restaurants.
