One of THE BEST Culinary Cities in THE WORLD, San Sebastian Food Tour
The bread display caught our eye and we had to stop in. We had a Mini Pantxineta (pan-chi-neta) and Cortado coffee. Great morning snack!
BODEGA DONOSTIARRA
Seafood restaurant offering pintxos including octopus salad and seasonal specialties like Txangurra (stuffed spider crab).
FUNICULAR MONTE IGUELDO
Take a quick trip to the top for stunning picturesque views of San Sebastián.
PANADERIA GALPARSORO OKINDEGIA
Tucked away in the Old Town. The croissants are a must and grab a loaf of bread if you’ll be able to enjoy it in a reasonable amount of time. They prefer Cash payment.
CASA VERGARA
This bar and seafood grill was such a treat. Don’t let the beautiful decor intimidate you. You walk right in, order your pintxos or grilled seafood and find a cozy table to enjoy your food finds.
GANDARIAS
Classic pintxos bar with an adjoining sit down restaurant. We only had pintxos during our visit but locals later recommended the Txuleta served here.
LA TXULETERIA
We had our grand Txuleta steak here. No menu other than side dishes written on a chalkboard wall. The steak here is excellent and the owner Beni is the coolest! Great family restaurant or dinner for 2.
GORRITI TABERNA
Frequented by locals with tourists woven in where ever they can grab a spot along the bar. Service is fast paced, you can be in and out in a matter of minutes.
BAR NESTOR
A household name in San Sebastián. If you miss the tortilla service, no worries, their other dishes are still worth the visit! For full details and times on how to put your name down for a slice of tortilla, visit their website
BAR LASARTE
Just across from Bar Nestor we stopped in for a delicious plate of sautéed wild mushrooms with an egg on top over a bed of crispy fries.
LA VINA
Most known for its Basque Burnt Cheesecake. This is a must visit and ask for glass of Nectar Sherry to accompany. This place is also known for the Anchovy Cream Cheese Cone. Worth a try for the adventurous eater!
Ha, looks like we went into the same places! A few anyway

Oh I did the Pinxho tour in San Sebastian 2 years ago, miss it. You sure know how to pick your spots!
